A: Rehabilitation is not covered under the ATE. In cases where liability is admitted, we expect to recover the full cost from the TP insurers (albeit this cannot be guaranteed). Where the full cost of rehab is not recovered from the defendant, we will pay the outstanding rehab from the injury compensation received by the claimant. If liability is disputed, or if there is any reason to believe that the cost of rehab will not be recovered, we will inform the claimant at that point to determine whether they wish to continue with treatment or not.
A: It may be possible for the claimant to use their own physiotherapist, but this would depend on whether that physiotherapist is on the medical agencies panel or treatment providers. The reason for this is that the medical agency we use have agreed terms with the physiotherapists for us to pay their costs upon conclusion of the case. If the physiotherapist is not willing to agree to this, we cannot arrange treatment via them.
A: We would expect the medical agency to contact the claimant to perform an initial triage within 24 hours of Accident Claims Lawyers accepting the case
A: Appointments will be made at a time and location suitable for the client, out of hours and weekend appointments are also available to ensure maximum flexibility
A: We would not be able to advise where exactly at this stage however it will be local to the claimant, further details will be provided to the client prior to the appointment.
A: Yes, it is how we value the claim and it is used to evidence the claim so without this, the defendant’s will not make an offer. The appointment is usually only around 15 minutes long and it is a verbal consultation rather than an examination.
A: Yes, we will instruct the engineer once the claim has been accepted and the claimant will receive notification of this.
I found everyone I spoke to at ACL to be really nice and so supportive during what was a really difficult time for me and my family. They arranged for me to see the right doctors and private rehabilitation was arranged.
Each time I had a query, it was always answered quickly and clearly. I felt that Jon had a clear understanding of my injuries and he was always very informative when giving his advice. I would recommend ACL to anyone who requires assistance following a serious accident.
The service was tremendous always kept me in the loop. Really happy with ACL and would return in future if I ever required their services.
I could not fault the service I was given, I am 100 % happy with everything. I was kept updated throughout my case and I would definitely recommend ACL.
First class service from the outset. Was comfortable with my Solicitor and the level of experience he has, kept me informed throughout and answered queries quickly.
Very professional and nice people to deal with, extremely happy with the outcome of my claim.
Literally faultless. I was informed every step of the way and my solicitor created a good rapport with me. I always felt comfortable talking to her and never any awkward silences. Excellent service
